XIII Brunel - Bielefeld Workshop on Random Matrix Theory
Date: 14 - 16 December 2017
Convenors: Gernot Akemann (Bielefeld, GER), Igor Krasovsky (London, GBR), Dmitry Savin (London, GBR), Igor Smolyarenko (London, GBR)
This annual workshop series was founded in 2005 to bring together physicists and mathematicians, working in the area of Random Matrix Theory and its various applications. The program will consist of talks by the invited speakers on Friday and Saturday, and a poster session starting Thursday afternoon. This year?s topics will be grouped around the following themes: Coulomb gasses and determinantal point processes in one and two dimensions, KPZ equation and free Fermions, applications to networks and graphs as well as semi-classical expansions related to Quantum Chaos and Nuclear Physics. Applications to participate, especially from junior researchers, are welcome and should be directed to the conference office. For informal enquiries please contact any of the organisers. Support is available to a limited number of participants presenting a poster.
