The Student Association represents all students of the University of Bielefeld. German as well as international students can turn to the association with questions and problems. On a regular basis, social and legal counsel is carried out. The AStA also offers non-recurring loans if students face financial difficulties. Every winter semester the AStA publishes a semester magazine in which the university, its organs, its scope of function of the several AStA groups are portrayed. Additionally, hints concerning extra-curricular political, cultural and social groups and institutions are given. The AStA can be found in room C1 - 154.
