Students enrolled at the University are issued with a Semesterticket, which entitles them to use public transport in the regional networks, and the Federal Railways within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Persons not yet enrolled as a student should obtain a weekly or monthly season ticket. Simple tickets are more expensive in case of extensive travelling.
