The Student Advising and Counselling (ZSB) is the central counselling service at Bielefeld University. It is an independent institute, and not connected to the Faculties or examination offices. Its counselling services are open to all students and all persons interested in studying.
Alongside general student counselling, the ZSB offers psychological help and counselling. All counselling is fully confidential. On request, counselling can also be given in English, French, or Spanish.
The ZSB provides open consulting hours for students and persons interested in studying. This is where and when you can get information, discuss personal concerns, and organize individual appointments.
There's no need to make an appointment to come in the open consulting hours. Special groups and meetings for students addressing topics formulated and developed to meet current demands round off the services provided by the ZSB.
You can find the ZSB in the main university building (UHG) on the 5th floor of section R.
The first place for you to go is the Secretary's office in R 5 - 157 and S 5 - 101.
