Ulrike Scholderer is Assistant to the Research Group Normative Aspects of Public Health. She studied Philosophy, Physics and Scandinavian Studies at Hamburg University, Lund University and Copenhagen University. Subsequently she studied Management of Health and Social Institutions at Witten-Herdecke University. She is also a certified communication manager.

Since 1999 she is working for different German federal associations connected to health care as head of communications.

In 2012 she started a PhD project dealing with Norman Daniels ethics in health.
