The topic of the exhibition contained delicate bodies of art. Works like The Artists, The Dancer, The Fishermen, and Trying to Fly all emanate a certain confidence, they stretch to the skies but still keep being firmly grounded.

Every statue was contrasted by a painting as a distorted mirror image. Painting and statue were intricately communicating with each other and the viewers found themselves in the middle of a tense dialogue between form and color.

The statues were made from old copper plates taken from the rooftops of the two belltowers at Bielefeld's Marienkirche. The corresponding paintings were created by putting printer's ink on handmade paper.
