With its network of young postdoctoral scholars, the ZiF has been organizing its own promotion program for junior scholars since 2002. Young and outstanding academics are offered the opportunity of advancing and fostering the interdisciplinary scholary discourse. The members come together three times a year to discuss a theme jointly decided on and exchange information about their individual research interests. In addition, the members are given the opportunity of organizing interdisciplinary workshops.
Membership in the network is for five years. Members are recruited by open and public application procedures.
