We understand Social History as comparative history of different societies from 18th-20th century.

Our research foci are:

• History of social strata and groups,
• history of social mechanisms (migration, mobility, urbanization) and careers,
• history of social ideas, norms and utopias and
• history of theories which are concerned with societies.
