The Graduate Program’s educational program aims to illuminate the connections between the individual research projects, and to locate the individual doctoral projects within a broader frame. The program is interdisciplinary. Emphasis is placed on the methodical and theoretical support of the dissertation projects, as well as on the regular presentation of the intermediary results showing the process of the project. In addition, fellows will participate in the organization of international workshops. The study program consists of the following courses:

- Method Workshop: Introduction into methods of scientific research with special attention given to the methodological problems of the dissertation project
- Research Colloquium: Forum for the presentation of dissertation projects as well as for lectures by researchers from Germany and abroad
