Participating Fields and Disciplines
The Graduate Program is carried out by the following Departments: Sociology (Prof. Alfons Bora, Prof. Wolfgang Krohn, Prof. Peter Weingart), History (Prof. Werner Abelshauser), Philosophy (Prof. Martin Carrier) and Theology, as well as by the Institute for Science and Technology Studies (executive board) at Bielefeld University.
Furthermore, teachers are recruited from other Departments, presently Department of Law (Prof. Stephan Barton)
Through the teachers of the Graduate Program there is a strong connection to these departments. Individual mentoring relationships to other departments can be established.
