The Bielefeld Young Researchers’ Fund focuses on young academics from Bielefeld University who have completed or almost completed their doctorates. Generally, they should have received their doctorate not more than 5 years ago. However, special circumstances (e.g. parental or caregiving leave) will be taken into account accordingly.
The goals of the Bielefeld Young Researchers’ Fund are particularly:
Measures eligible to be funded include:
a) Research subsidies, promotion of mobility (up to 5,000 €)
b) "Entry into third-party funded research" (up to 15,000 €)
c) "Career bridges" [Scholarship] (up to 22,000 €)

The deadline for the next application round is 15 April 2013.
