The Research Unit Transnationalization and Development teaches in the BA Sociology Fachmodul „Transnationalization, Migration and Development“ (30-M25) and in the MA Sociology profile „Sociology of the globalized world“. The research teaching classes in the MA Sociology are significant parts of our teaching and in addition we teach research classes, project seminars and in the Vernetzungsmodul in the BA Sociology.
The Research Unit offers seminars for doctoral students, research classes and research colloquia and organizes international summer schools in the context of the doctoral program of the BGHS graduate school and the graduate program of the collaborative research center „From Heterogeneities to Inequalities“.
In addition to the regular BA und MA seminars we organize colloquia and summer schools for BA, MA and doctoral students. Furthermore we have a number of Erasmus Agreements with other European universities who have a commensurable area of study or a compareable program as our department.
At least half of our classes are carried out in English. Please click here to view a list of our courses in the current term; or go directly to the electronic university calendar of the Faculty of Sociology.
