1959 in Morriston, New Jersey geboren; studierte in New Haven (BA 1981), am Massachusetts College of Art in Boston (BAFA 1983), an der Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Island (1984), der Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (1994) und schloss ihr Ausbildungsprogramm 1995 mit dem Master für bildende Kunst in Boston ab.
