Exchange program for foreign language assistants
The Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (PAD) is annually offering an exchange program for foreign language assistants. Prospective teachers get the chance to teach German at a school or university abroad for one year and thereby gain a lot of teaching experience. Further information and application documents are available here. Don't hesitate to ask for help and advice at the International Office.
Fulbright Scholarships for the United States:
For the academic year 2015/16, the Fulbright Commission gives out scholarships for the United States. The scholarships are based on a study stay to an American graduate school. There are two scholarship opportunities:
1. staying two semesters during the master
2. taking a complete master in the U.S. (for up to two years)

McCloy Scholarship Program for Harvard Kennedy School and ERP Scholarship program for the USA
The McCloy Scholarship Program enables students to commence a graduate program at Harvard Kennedy School and the ERP Scholarship supports students to pursue their studies/research for one or two years at an Ivy-League University in the USA. Both programs are directed at excellent students of all faculties with an undergraduate diploma. A successful application also allows admission to the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
Both programs aim at strenghtening transatlantic ties by training and connecting excellent future managers for the public sector. For further information please refer to the hompepage: McCloy program and the flyer ERP program.
