This international interdisciplinary meeting treated several themes located between the so called Geisteswissenschaften and the so called Naturwissenschaften from an evolutionary point of view. The discussion was focussed on issues concerning literary criticism and the philologies. One main result of the meeting is the definition of problems and chances of a naturalistic perspective in the so called Geisteswissenschaften.
