The research project concentrates on the field of the Abrahamic religions and examines the motivating ethos of religious actors involved in the transformation of a conflict in the case of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The overarching purpose of the ZiF-workshop was an evaluation of the project design. The participants of the meeting addressed a wide array of issues, such as possibilities of transfer, interdisciplinary perspectives, applicability of research instruments, an assemblage of data concerning local peace constituencies, and a preliminary construction of space-/field-models. Eventually all driving goals of the workshop have been fulfilled. After three days of exchange the basic structure of the research design has been revised; as a final result the guiding questioning was modified and reformulated in concrete terms.
