The conference brought together members of the DFG-Research Unit 'Text-Technological Modelling of Information' and international experts of cognitive science, computational linguistics, computer science and psycholinguistics. The conference consisted of six sections: (1) Text Parsing: Data Structures, Architecture, Evaluation; (2) Recognition of Thematic Structures: Method, Resources, Applications; (3) From Textual Data to Ontologies, from Ontologies to Textual Data; (4) Multidimensional Representations: Solutions for Complex Markup; (5) Document-Structure Learning: Procedures for Multiply Structured Data and Web-Based Documents; (6) Sustainability of Text-Technological Resources.
