The BGHS provides assistance with finding jobs in academia and on the job market outside universities. Graduates are supported actively with their professional decisions, nationally and internationally.
In cooperation with the PEP (personnel development programme) and the university careers service, the Graduate School offers seminars and workshops every year, where key qualifications can be gained and advice on the professional orientation and career planning is given.
After previous consultation with the BGHS, these offerings may count as credits for the area of Transferable Skills or for the Optional Component (email@example.com).
In addition, the BGHS awards so-called "career bridge fellowships" to their doctoral researchers after graduation to support and facilitate work access for career progression. For additional information on these programmes, click here.
