At the moment we are running or planning various projects in which you can get involved as a bachelor student or master student. For further information see my research.

1) Does the birth season induce differences in behaviour, morphology and reproduction ?

2) How do social influences during early development shape behaviour, physiology and the brain ?

3) How do parents and offspring interact and influence each other - mechanisms, consequences and heritable basis of parent-offspring coevolution ?

Practical work can involve behavioural observations and behavioural tests, measurements on birds (reproduction, morphology, colouration), physiological measures (hormone levels), genetics, and (in collaboration with Prof. Bischof) neuroanatomy
