Its primary objectives are to ensure that all aspects of graduate teaching, research and tuition meet the highest possible standards. The aims are: Internationalisation Compatibility between different national education systems Limitation of PhD study duration to three years Interdisciplinarity Improvement of soft skills Promotion of intercultural competence Language courses The Department for German as a Foreign Language offers courses in German as well as general advice on academic writing. Chemical Colloquium The Graduate School Lectures and the GDCh Lectures have been joined to a Chemical Colloquium. This Colloquium takes place every Thursday at 17 c.t. in lecture hall H3.
