Ram Bdr. K.C. is a Sociologist and lecturer in the Department of Sociology/Anthropology, Patan Multiple College, Nepal. He has been teaching Sociology at the masters-level since 1998. In addition to his involvement in this project, he has worked as consultant for various NGOs in Nepal. His research interests focus on issues of social exclusion and inclusion in Nepal.

Friso Hecker, a trained anthropologist, is currently working towards his doctoral degree at the faculty of Sociology at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. From 2004-2008 he was part of the project "Processes of Ethnicisation and De-ethnicisation of Politics in South Asia and the Andes" under the Collaborative Research Centre "The Political as Communicative Space in History".

Lukas Rehm is academic assistant at the Department of Iberian and Latin American History at Bielefeld University. He and Friedrich Summann, head of the IT department of the library of Bielefeld University, technically realized the present database.
