The qualified team of Frauennotruf e.V. (association offering support to women in cases of sexual assault) work on behalf of the Equal Opportunity Officers of Bielefeld University to provide an advice service in cases of sexual discrimination and assault. As an external agency, the Frauennotruf e.V. offers advice independent of university structures and hierarchies. Advice and support are free of charge and confidential and available to students as well as staff of Bielefeld University.

This central counselling service for all questions concerning university studies offers competent advice, and is also sensitive to gender issues.
The International Office supports and fosters all international matters at the University. This includes advising German students who intend to study abroad. The Office addresses and takes into account concerns specific to women.
The Department for Research Administration and Technology Transfer (FTT) is a central service of Bielefeld University providing a broad range of support services for researchers.
The Student Union (AStA), of Bielefeld University attends to all concerns of student life. As well as offering countless advice services there is also the Office for Equal Opportunities that focuses on a keeping everyday university life free from discrimination.
The Career Service provides workshops and events for students to help them on their way to a successful career. Counselling sessions and seminars address gender specific problems when entering the job market.
Komm, mach MINT. is a National Pact for Women in MINT Careers (mathematics, informatics, natural sciences and technology). The Internet platform provides information (in German) on study paths, job markets, projects and much more in the MINT areas.
