The work of the non-governmental organization vivo is aimed at overcoming and preventing traumatic stress and its consequences within the individual as well as the community, safeguarding the rights and dignity of people affected by violence and conflict. vivo further aims to strengthen local resources for the development of peaceful, human rights-based, societal ways of living.

Dr. Anamaria Silva-Saavedra, Church Development Service (EED) - seconded specialist of the Civil Peace Cervice (CPS), Germany. Dr. Silva-Saavedra is consultant in the areas mental health and psychotherapy in post-conflict societies, clinical research and socio-cultural context, epidemiology and psychotherapy in low-income countries.
Currently she is mainly active for the Asociación Paz y Esperanza, Lima, Perú.
Aaruthal is an NGO formed in April 2006 in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.
