I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I will be graduating in May 2010 and plan to attend UTC's Research Psychology program for graduate school starting in Fall 2010.
My research interests are quite varied; however, I am primarily focused on Autism because I have both personal and professional experience in this area. I plan to study adult services for autistic individuals and their families this spring. I am also very much interested in cultural differences in acceptance and support of those with disabilities both within the United States and around the world. Yet another interest is related to cultural differences in religious fundamentalism and how this affects the altruistic and empathetic aspects of one?s personality.
