Center for Interdisziplinary Research

Interdisciplinary Research in Law and Jurisprudence - Inside and Outside Perspectives

Date: April 15 - 17, 2009

Organizers: Michael Anderheiden, Stephan Kirste (both Heidelberg)

At the conference the topics central to the discussion during the past 40 years were supplemented with numerous new facets and a great number of cross connections and new discussion fora developed. At this stage we are not yet able to give an overview of the outcome of the conference; however, there was general agreement on the question that the multipolar dialog should be continued not only against the background of approaching the special features of law and jurisprudence but also with a view to better understanding possibilities and limits of interdisciplinary research taking particularly into account the field of law.
