Comparative Politics and Governance
Teaching and research of the Working Group Comparative Politics and Governance centres around comparative public policy research and political economy as well as institutions and organisations. Aditionally, teaching addresses the comparative analysis of political systems. Our research questions focus on politicisation and institutionalisation at the interface between politics, economy, and society. Results of this research are published in numerous international journals, edited volumes and monographs. We cooperate with researchers of numerous disciplines (among others sociology, historical science, law, ethnology) in projects and contexts on a national and international level.
Exchange with our students as well as with media and organisations of political education is important to us. Please, contact us if you have questions or requests.
