Michael Weber

Michael Weber

Michael is a PhD student, working on the identification and functional characterization of seminal fluid proteins in the simultaneous hermaphrodite Macrostomum lignano. He is using molecular techniques such as in situ hybridisation and RNAi to test the function of specific seminal fluid proteins.

Athina Giannakara

Athina Giannakara

Athina is a student on the “Behaviour: From Neural Mechanisms to Evolution” Master programme, and is currently doing her Master thesis project in our group. She is interested in how the social environment impacts on spermatogenesis in our favourite model organism, Macrostomum lignano.
