I am an evolutionary biologist with the main interest in behavioural, evolutionary genomics as well as epigenetic studies especially to find the underpinning mechanisms of phenotypic traits in the birds.
For my current postdoc project, I am working on Male sexual competition and adaptive niche conformance in the Zebra finch using endocrinological and transcriptomics approaches and also studying the sperm phenotypic traits.
The project is part of the SFB-TRR 212: NC³ project and is strongly connected to subproject A (Navina Lilie).
