I'm a behavioural and evolutionary ecologist particularly interested in how variation is maintained. I'm a field ornithologist by training that has spent a substantial amount of time studying dominance hierarchies. I believe science is a cumulative process, and that meta-analyses are essential to scientific progress. For my postdoc project, I will conduct meta-analyses to study behavioural individualization as part of the SFB-TRR 212: NC³ project. I strongly support open science, and my aim of life (scientifically) is to pre-register all my studies.
