3D Photon Cross Correlation Spectroscopy (3D-PCCS)

3D-LS Photon Cross Correlation Spectroscopy (PCCS) is a powerful extension of the well established Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (PCS). While PCS is limited to highly diluted systems, with PCCS it is possible to study multiple scattering systems like suspensions or emulsions.
The basic principle of the 3D-PCCS are two separated laser beams (equal wavelength) which illuminate at the same scattering vector the same sample volume. Therefore two light scatterings experiments are performed simultaneously and the cross correlation of the scattered light allows to separate single from multiple scattering events.
