Final Degree Scholarship for international doctoral candidates 2021
The Welcome Centre announces a final degree scholarship for international doctoral candidates. Successful applicants receive a monthly stipend of €1000 for one up to six months. Prerequisites include:

Exchange program for foreign language assistants
The Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (PAD) is annually offering an exchange program for foreign language assistants. Prospective teachers get the chance to teach German at a school or university abroad for one year and thereby gain a lot of teaching experience. McCloy Scholarship Program for Harvard Kennedy School and ERP Scholarship program for the USA
The McCloy Scholarship Program enables students to commence a graduate program at Harvard Kennedy School and the ERP Scholarship supports students to pursue their studies/research for one or two years at an Ivy-League University in the USA. Both programs are directed at excellent students of all faculties with an undergraduate diploma. A successful application also allows admission to the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
Both programs aim at strenghtening transatlantic ties by training and connecting excellent future managers for the public sector. Further information:

Study placement at the Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre offers placements for students for a duration between six weeks and three months. The placement qualifies for an accreditation to study credits within the framework of practical modules.
Erasmus+ placement at the Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre offers international students placements for a duration of three months. Funding through Erasmus+ or a comparable sponsoring association is recommended.
