Mentoring Programm

© Universität Bielefeld

The InterKontakt-Program was created in order to support international PhD students and Post-Docs at Bielefeld University. It provides them with a mentor who knows Bielefeld University and has lived in Germany for some time. Mentors are volunteers and help their mentees settle into Bielefeld, find their way around the university and support in administrative matters. They can give useful tips as well as help in making social contacts.

The three most important goals of the mentoring program:

  • Support in matters concerning the university
  • Support in administrative matters
  • Support in making social contacts

Of course, participation is free of charge!
