Bielefeld School of Public Health

The AG Internationalisation was founded to promote initiatives aimed at strengthening internationalisation in study, teaching and research within the Faculty. It is an association of representatives from different status groups of the School of Public Health, characterised by diversity and interdisciplinarity.

Objectives:

• To promote international and global perspectives in teaching and research.
• Strengthening interpersonal and intercultural skills in an international context
• Strengthening foreign language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking)

The members of the WG Internationalisation see great added value in involving students and staff in different aspects of internationalisation, including content, language, experiential and value-based perspectives. In line with Bielefeld University's internationalisation strategy, we see internationalisation "at home" and outside Germany as two facets of the same integrated and comprehensive strategy.
