Study abroad
All students who are planning to study abroad or who want to come to Bielefeld to study can get comprehensive information from the International Office of Bielefeld University.
The study abroad pages of the LiLi Faculty deal specifically with the exchange programs coordinated here, especially the programs within the framework of ERASMUS+. Students of the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature who are planning a stay abroad will find more information in the section "Outgoing".
On the websites of the departments, you can find additional information about exchange programs and cooperations, also outside Europe, which are available to students of the respective subject.
Applications
The application deadline for the following academic year is always January 31.
Since the beginning of January, applications can be submitted via the university's application portal. Here, a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, transcript of records, and the form on the universities of choice are uploaded. Up to three universities of choice can be considered in the application. We will make every effort to provide you with timely feedback.
