The "Gold-AID" project aims to develop evidence-based, AI-supported ADHD diagnostics for adults with disorders of intelligence development (SIE).

It is being carried out in a participatory manner as part of the MECS-Kol Research Training Group.

Central components of the project are the German translation and validation of the diagnostic interview DIVA-5-ID as well as pattern analyses to identify objective, behaviour-based and physiological biomarkers. These will be combined with results from developmental diagnostics to create a diagnostic gold standard for adults with SIE.
In addition, a multimodal, computerised attention model will be developed that enables the development of a social agent to carry out targeted, interactive interventions. The model can be used to visualise patterns that indicate an ADHD diagnosis.
These can be used in a shared decision process in diagnostics.
