
Extension of the deadline for abstracts until October 30, 2025, and for registrations until November 16, 2025. Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
The autumn workshop of the working groups Statistical Methods in Medicine (IBS-DR), Statistical Methods in Epidemiology (IBS-DR, DGEpi, DGSMP), Statistical Methods in Clinical Research (GMDS), Epidemiological Methods (DGEpi, GMDS, DGSMP) and the cross-sectional initiative Causal Inference (DGEpi) will take place on November 20-21, 2025 in Bielefeld on the topic From Evidence Synthesis to Precision Medicine: An Interdisciplinary Perspective.
Prof. Dr. Mariska Leeflang (Amsterdam UMC, Evidence based diagnostics: not one size fits all) and Prof. Dr. Oliver Kuß (German Diabetes Center, Empirically Assessing the Benefits of Precision Medicine – Meta-Regression Approaches) have been confirmed as keynote speakers.
Registrations (free of charge) and the submission of abstracts for short presentations (15+5 minutes) are now possible via this link (deadline for acstracts: October 30, 2025, deadline for registration: November 16, 2025). Further information on the programme will be announced after the registration deadline. We especially welcome contributions from early-stage researchers. Contributions that go beyond the theme of the workshop are also welcome.
The workshop language will be English. We are looking forward to a successful workshop in Bielefeld!
