PhilBio Team

The PhilBio Team meetings facilitate exchange between advanced Master students, PhD students, postdocs, and professors working in the philosophy of the life sciences (and in related areas). We discuss drafts of research papers as well as papers of other philosophers that are relevant to our research. There is also room for discussing grant applications, trying out research talks, simulating job interviews, and discussing questions about academic career paths.

What unites the members of the PhilBio team is our fascination for the life sciences and our passion for reflecting on the concepts, epistemological features, and underlying metaphysical assumptions of the life sciences.
