Global Health Research Colloquium

You are invited to join the new Interdisciplinary Global Heath Research Colloquium, which will be held at Bielefeld University in 2020.

The colloquium aims to promote and cultivate interdisciplinary research, thinking and exchange about issues broadly related to global health.

The first colloquium session will be held on
29 January 2020, 15:00-16:30 in room UHG L6-126.

From February onwards, the colloquium meetings will be held on the last Thursday of every month at 13:00-14:30 in room UHG C2-136.

See the full schedule below

Doctoral, post-doctoral and senior researchers are invited to present on their current research projects and work in progress. Student researchers are also encouraged to attend.

The colloquium will foster an informal, vibrant environment for researchers from different disciplines and all levels across Bielefeld University to share, learn about and discuss research on global health.

Each month, one researcher will present on a current research project or piece of work (e.g. proposal, article manuscript, etc.), which will be discussed together with the participants.

Organisational coordination and support for the research colloquium is provided by the Department of Population Medicine and Health Services Research (AG 2) in the School of Public Health. For further information or if you would like to present at the colloquium (in English or German), please contact Ms. Victoria Saint.
