Consulting & Advice
The Service Center for Young Researchers is the main contact point for prospective doctoral candidates, doctoral candidates and postdocs at Bielefeld University. The Service Center also supports experienced researchers applying to acquire third-party funding for a doctoral programme. The Service Center for Young Researchers sees itself as being at the interface to all other services for young researchers at Bielefeld University and can refer you to the relevant department for any specific question.
Dear young researchers,
due to the current worldwide restrictions to delay the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus Bielefeld University has also decided to reduce its basic operations to a minimum level. Staff members are asked to work from home as far as possible, research stays and conference trips are currently not possible. Numerous research projects can only be pursued to a limited extent or not at all. All these restrictions affect you, too, to a certain extent. The Service Center for Young Researchers would like to support you with information on various regulations during this time.
Some funding organisations and foundations provide information about changed deadlines as well as application procedures on their websites. Due to the dynamic of the whole situation and the continuously changing information, the NachwuchPortal provides only a few links to relevant websites. Since the addresses of the websites can also change at any time, we ask for your understanding if one or the other link is no longer up-to-date. At the same time, we cannot guarantee that the information provided is complete. Please visit the websites to find out about possible changes or further information.Regulations of various funding organisations due to the Corona pandemic:
