Refugee Counseling team

You have already studied in your home country and wish to continue your studies here in Germany? You ask yourself if your school-leaving certificate enables you to study at a German University?

In this case the Refugee Counseling team is your first contact at Bielefeld University: we offer initial counseling and inform you concerning study options.

Our support

We

  • check your academic/school certificates, language certificates etc.
  • provide general information about study courses and language courses
  • help you with your application at Bielefeld University
  • offer support with your application via uni-assist e.V. (free of charge for refugees)
  • inform about how to finance your studies
  • inform about how to transfer from Kiron Open Higher Education to Bielefeld University

Counseling

Our office hour takes place

  • Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m.
  • Thursdays from 14:00 to 16:00 p.m.

in room X-C3-105 in the building X of Bielefeld University. No appointment is needed.

  No office hour on March 7, 2019.
