Call for Applications as student assistant at the IW

To the next possible date (1./15. November, 2021) the Institute for World Society Studiesis is in search for a student assistant BA/FH (WHF) 9 hours per week for 12 months. Application deadline is 10.09.2021.

Institute founder Rudolf Stichweh visits as Luhmann-Guestprofessor
 
Rudolf Stichweh, founder of the Institute for World Society Studies, will visit Bielefeld University as the Niklas Luhmann-Guestprofessor of winter term 2021/22. He will stay for two months, giving lectures for PhD candidates. Also, he will give a talk with the promising title "Weltgesellschaft und funktionale Differenzierung" on 10. November 2021 at 6:15 p. m.

Call for Abstracts "Historische Soziologie" bis 30.09.2021

Die Gründungstagung des Arbeitskreises "Historische Soziologie" in der DGS-Sektion Kultursoziologie wird vom 07. bis 09. März 2022 stattfinden. Ein PDF des Call for Abstracts findet sich hier. Außerdem findet sich ein Link zum Call auf der Sektionsseite der Kultursoziologie bei der DGS hier. Die Tagung wird gemeinsam organisiert von Lars Gertenbach, Simon Hecke, Matthias Leanza, Daniela Russ und Julia Schubert.
