The BA programme International Relations provides a many-sided reflection of the world as a rapidly connecting and global space through addressing topics of globalization, changing national states and their international relations. The programme applies an interdisciplinary lens to nation states and their transformations, covering areas such as: political sciences, political thinking, international relations, history, economics, European studies, and world politics. Students can also choose compulsory courses from various research fields that include topics such as the Middle East, the Balkan area, EU integration, Turkish external policy, migration, social change, or international institutions. The University recommends that exchange students with little knowledge of Turkish should choose English courses from the offering for international students, which are abundant. Students with advanced Turkish language skills may also take courses from the complete (Turkish and English) course catalogue. A detailed overview is available on the university´s website.
