Language of instruction: French. Some courses are also offered in English. The minimum required level of proficiency for French or English is B2 based on the CEFR. Extensive French is also recommended beyond this level.

General information: The university consists of 40 research institutes and educates about 34,000 students. International students make up about 18% of all students, which contributes to a cross-cultural study environment. The university is divided into four campuses across Paris.

The Bachelor’s programme facilitates the acquisition of deep theoretical, methodological, and historical knowledge of law, political sciences, economy, and international relations. Furthermore, it relates to fields such as politcal sociology and philosophy, and foreign languages. It seeks to enable students to analyze political dynamics and contexts professionally and gain practical skills for the application and politically relevant areas.
Study terms: The winter semester usually begins in mid-September and ends in January. The summer semester usually begins in mid-January and ends in June. Exams are held in January and May, respectively.
Other information: The university offers exchange students several support services as French language courses, introduction days or a practical guide for incoming students. The university guides students to find accommodation in the student resident halls Nanterre or Saint-Cloud.
