You would like to increase your reading speed up to 100% (depending on text difficulty and English proficiency)? Sounds good, because scientific work involves a lot of reading?
It may seems like magic, but it is not difficult and can be learned quickly. It is a question of reading technique, reading
intention and concentration. All three aspects are covered in detail and will be practised in the seminar.
Contents:
- Minimize the number of fixations per line
- Increase horizontal and peripheral vision span and the number of words registered per fixation
- Eliminate regression and back-skipping
- Quickly grasp what’s important in the text
- Improve concentration
Aims of the seminar:
- Increasing your reading speed up to 100%
- Improving your reading quality
- Boosting your reading motivation
Methods:
Short presentations alternate with exercises and their reflection. The seminar is followed by a six-week e-Learning by e-mail, which requires a daily practice time of about 15 minutes.
