Prof. Dr. Andreas Vasilache

Andreas Vasilache is a Professor of European Studies at the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University (Germany) and the Director of the Centre for German and European Studies (CGES/ZDES). He has been the Principal Investigator (PI) of several research and professionalization projects in the fields of European Studies and International Relations, focusing, among other issues, on patterns of world politics, Europe in world society and interregional cooperation between Asia and Europe (supported, e.g., by the Volkswagen Foundation, DFG and DAAD).

Marie-Sophie Borchelt Camêlo, M.A.

Marie-Sophie Borchelt Camêlo is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University (Germany). In 2020 she started her PhD project, which focuses on grassroots movements and the reorientation of radical leftist groups in Germany since 2014. She has been the project coordinator of the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Bielefeld since 2020 and also works at the Centre for German and European Studies (CGES/ZDES), where she focuses on organizing international winter schools.

Dr. Aziz Elmuradov

Aziz Elmuradov is a research associate at the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University (Germany). In 2020, he defended his PhD in the framework of the Research Training Group ‘World Politics’ with a focus on Russia’s foreign policy discourse on the European Union. Since 2021, he holds the project coordination of the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at Bielefeld University.
