Transnationalisation and Development Research Centre (TDRC)

Welcome to the homepage of the Transnationalisation and Development Research Centre (TDRC), one of nine Research Units of the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University.

The Transnationalisation and Development Research Centre (TDRC) currently incorporates two Reaearch Groups:

Transnational Relations and Sociology
of Development/Centre on Migration,
Citizenship and Development (COMCAD)
Sozialanthropologie

Until midyear 2009, the Research Group "Social Geography" was also part of the TDRC. By February 2006, the TDRC incorporated another Research Group: "Women and Gender in Developing Countries".
