The Faculty of Law at Bielefeld University is a modern and open-minded faculty. In addition to excellent study conditions, you will find outstanding legal research at 23 chairs and a large number of research centres, institutes and centres. Our students have access to suitable counselling and support services for all phases of their studies, from course start to final exams.
Thinking outside the box is a natural part of research and teaching here - whether in interdisciplinary collaborations with other disciplines or through cooperation with legal researchers and faculties in Germany and abroad.
In addition to the "classic" training for the state exam(ination), which is the main focus of the courses on offer, the faculty is involved in other degree programmes (Bachelor "Law and Management", Master "World Studies") and offers a minor course of study; there are also additional courses such as Europe Intensive, Moot Courts and student legal advice. A special focus is traditionally placed on the extensive programme to support students preparing for their exams. There are excellent working conditions in the Law departmental library of the university library.
