Good teaching

Good teaching is crucial for students’ success. At Bielefeld University, good teaching means activating the student’s sense of personal responsibility. It also means taking each student seriously and treating them respectfully, irrespective of background, origin and interests, and acting in a fair and transparent manner. This was set out in the guiding principle for teaching and in the ‘Living Document for working together on teaching and learning at Bielefeld University’ and is also reflected in the guidelines for digital teaching.
