- Protestant Student Community (ESG)
The ESG is a network of mainly Protestant students who work, eat, worship and celebrate together. In addition, the ESG social counselling awards scholarships and emergency aid. International students of all faiths are welcome.
- Catholic University Community (KHG)
The KHG sees itself as an association of Christian-motivated students who meet in various working groups and organise social projects. In addition, the KHG awards scholarships and emergency aid to international students, regardless of their faith.

In addition to the counselling services, there are many university groups at Bielefeld University for different interests. In university groups you will get to know other students and you can participate in the work of the groups.

UniCard
At Bielefeld University, students, employees as well as external library users can obtain a multifunctional, electronically readable ID card in credit card format with the UniCard.
Mobility
The semester ticket gives you free travel on buses, trams and local trains in the transport associations and communities of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The ZAB provides information and support on the topics of accessibility and active participation of people with disabilities or chronic illnesses at Bielefeld University (e.g. disadvantage compensation, peer mentoring specifically for people with disabilities, chronic or mental illnesses).
