On this page you will find innovative teaching projects at Bielefeld University subdivided into university-wide projects and teaching projects.
The university-wide projects include ‘richtig Einsteigen’ (“getting started”) which supports first-year students in laying a good foundation for a successful course of study. In addition, there are the projects Bielefeld Teaching Innovations for Collaborative Development of Digital Teaching/Learning Formats (BiLinked) and the Higher education initiative: digital accessibility for all, which are still under development.
Teaching projects at Bielefeld University include the “Qualitätsfonds für die Lehre” (Teaching enhancement fund), which supports innovative teaching projects. A further project, ‘Teaching concepts from the subject disciplines’, has largely been developed by participants of the Bielefeld Certificate for University Teaching course and advanced training courses at Bielefeld University. The Fellowship for innovations in digital university teaching (‘digiFellows’) awards individual funding to applicants with innovative approaches to digital university teaching. In addition, the Curriculum 4.0.NRW funding line aims to improve degree programmes and their curricula in meeting the requirements of digitization in studies and work.
